A CELEBRATION OF LIFE – AKBAR IMHOTEP

On December 1st, 2022, my father, Akbar Imhotep, walked across the Crystal River joining a long parade of ancestors. I believe in my heart that they welcomed him with as much love as we surrounded him with as he made his transition. I know in my heart that he is now truly exploring a terrain full of endless possibilities. Still tellin' stories, still feeding our imaginations, and nourishing our souls.

We will be following his tradition of annually celebrating his birthday and birth as an artist with a community Celebration of Life on his 71st heavenly birthday and 53rd year in the arts.
